Unique Illustrations

Origins 1926 uniquely displays three original works of art specifically created by Anthony Oakshett following the author's description of the concepts he was trying to capture.
These show the magnificence of Walter Hagen's swing in capturing one of his four victories in The Open Championship; the trailblazing stars of women's golf on the Old Course, St Andrews; and Hagen's flamboyant response to being banned from gentlemen's Golf Clubs, as a professional golfer.
These images are worth many thousand words... bringing to life the people and atmosphere of the 1920s.
These original paintings can be purchased from the artist.
